What is a waste removal machine?
The waste removal machine (also called the waste discharge machine or label picking machine) is a type of post-production equipment for printing and packaging. After the die-cutting process, it is specifically used to remove and separate waste edges and inner hole islands stuck in the paper pile after die-cutting, and to remove finished product tags, color boxes, and cards, replacing the manual pounding and scraping of waste.
Die-cutting only shapes the outline of the paper; the waste and finished product are connected by tiny dots and won't fall off automatically. The waste removal machine is essentially the "dismantling waste" step.
Three common models
1. Handheld Pneumatic Waste Cleaner (Handheld Device)
Pneumatic motor drives the gear chain to tear off the outer scrap edges, making it lightweight and suitable for large edge scrap materials for color boxes and corrugated cartons; Cannot handle small internal holes, suitable for small batches and miscellaneous orders.
2. Inner Hole Waste Cleaner (Semi-Automatic Foot Pedal)
Custom mold punching is used specifically for cleaning round holes, shaped holes, and airplane holes inside products; hang tag window openings and color box openings are widely used; Place the paper stack on the workbench, start the foot, and the punching needle pushes the waste out of the hole.
3. Fully Automatic Full-Panel Waste Removal Machine (Large Machine)
PLC touch screen control, loading entire stacks of paper into the machine, removing all scrap edges and inner holes of the entire sheet in one go, directly separating finished products from waste; Suitable for hang tags, cards, and large-volume color box orders, connected to die-cutting assembly lines, saving a lot of labor.
Applicable products
Hang tags, clothing cards, color boxes, cosmetic boxes, cigarette packs, manuals, corrugated cardboard boxes, various die-cut card paper products.
Core advantages
- Replaces manual scrapping and hole picking, reduces labor intensity, and minimizes scratches and tearing caused by manual scraping
- High efficiency: Manual work that takes several hours is completed in just over ten minutes, solving bottlenecks in the die-cutting post-process
- Controllable waste cleaning intensity, protecting finished product indentations and printed surfaces, with higher yield
Simple process: die-cutting machine die-cutting → waste removal machine discharging all waste → entering counting, packing, rope threading, and other subsequent processes
